Flower Child

For casual and healthy fare, check out my new favorite, Flower Child with more than one location in the city. This place is a vintage farm house, counter order style, and the food is flavor filled and still you don't feel guilt swallowing down every easy bite!

Chino Bandido

For some quick, affordable and still flavorful taste of East meets Mexican, or in their translation, food that is like a "Chinese Panda becomes a Mexican Bandito". Hop on in for a mixed plate at Chino Bandido. You get to sample all of their meats before you finalize your choice too!

Such a beautiful weekend. We completed our first recording of inmate mommies reading books and giving a positive message to their children on DVDs. These loving mothers longing to speak to their kids on camera brought out unspeakable joy, compassion and tears from all involved. Truly grateful to God for opening the doors to let us do this and to all of you who stepped up to support us with book donations and financial support! My heart is filled with gratitude. These incarcerated moms and their children are grateful. #themessagesproject
